Websites for the Parrot Museum.  If you like parrots, you will enjoy these two websites.  The Flickr site has works involving parrots such as painting, drawing, fabric design, crafts, sculpture, ceramics, and more.

My parrots collages were selected to show on their Flickr site.  Their statement:  "The purpose of this research is to examine big issues in parrot art. The plan of the research will be to set forth how each artist spins tales around the confrontation of the parrot with the human world."

"Parrot Talk, #1".  Sold, but I may do more artwork based on this idea.  I would like to make a print of it, but cannot until I learn how to clean up the image.

Go to the above links to find the answer.  Thomas Kinkade (1958-2012)  painted under the "brush name" of "Robert Girrard" from 1984 to 1990.  He produced 71 Girrard paintings in the style of the French Impressionists.  Thom's career can be separated into three areas -- academic landscapes, Robert Girrard, and Painter of Light.
